Phytoseiulus-System
Red spider mite is a pest that spares few greenhouse crops. Especially in dry and warm weather, spider mite population may increase very rapidly.
For several years the predatory mite Phytoseiulus persimilis is used to control red spider mites.
Phytoseiulus persimilis is packed per 1,000, 2.000, 10.000 or 20.000 adults in sawdust in a 30 ml, 500 ml and 1 L tube. The 2.000 unit is also available in a 100 ml tube. The hot spot vial (1,000) comes with a cap designed for dosing specific areas of the crop.
Before sprinkling the tube is gently rotated. The material is distributed on the lower leafs of the plant.
Phytoseiulus-System can be stored briefly at 6 - 8C (43 - 46F) and RH >85%. Store the tubes horizontally.
